Lawn Care Website
Rick has a professional lawn care business and he was looking for a professional web presence. He came to me with very little, some photos and a Facebook page. I enjoyed working from scratch on the project to give Rick a professional and clean look. The white backdrop allows his work to take center stage. The project is still in development at this time, but we hope to have all the content before the spring.

Fundraiser Auction for Kenwood Education
The Kenwood Education Foundation reached out to me for a design for their fundraising event. They wanted something "country" and I came up with the lights, cowboy boots and barrel over a wood background. They wanted to add the movie Grand Ole Opry to the event, and I was able to find a logo to use. They also asked for an invitation and RSVP for the event which is currently in design.

Community space for kids with development challenges
Social Village is a client of Weblications. They wanted a website that would mirror their current design for Princeton Speech-Language & Learning Center, but with a fresh look to the home page. When I created the design, I wanted to keep the page colorful and happy, so I created the colored sections and repeated the colors in the slideshow for each topic area.

However, there has been staff changes, and the new client contact prefers to be hands-off when it comes to the website updates and design. Professional Artist Website
Ray Fisher is a successful artist living in Santa Fe, NM, and was in need of an online portfolio. Besides his beautiful artwork and custom furniture, he also creates one of a kind sculpture. It was his "Winter Bird" that stood out among the rest due to its shear size... it stands almost 7 and a half feet tall!
Ray had no brand identity and no existing website. He gave me a clean slate to work with, except for two requests: use the color grey and a san-serif font. No problem!

Dead is Better
Dead is Better is an online guide to haunted attractions and events in New Jersey. The site also provides Halloween prop tutorials and topics related to the holiday. If you are a fan of Halloween and creepy things, you'll find Dead is Better to be a great informational site.
For the design, I decided not to go the obvious route for a Halloween site using black and orange, and instead I gave the site a vintage feel with gold frames, muted natural colors, and hints of blood.
I built Wordpress into the site so that it exists as if the user is not actually leaving the site to read the blog.

SBRnet
SBRnet is a client of Weblications. The client provided a word document with content only for a poster to be printed and used at a trade show in Arizona. The client originally had all the content at the bottom of the poster with the website screen shot at the top. I explained to him that it would be more helpful for booth visitors to be able to read the content at eye level. The website screen shot is a good visual aide, but the content was more important. I used the colors that would blend well with the screen shot and the overall look of the poster. I also wanted to repeat the web link at the top and bottom like a header and footer balancing the project.
The client was kind enough to take a picture of their booth set up and send it to me.

Personal Wedding Website
As a web designer, I was excited to put together a personal wedding website for our guests to use to get information and have a sneak peek at the design elements for our wedding. I had a lot of fun creating the page with a smooth gliding navigation and implementing scripts to run a slideshow. I did run into some trouble with the conflicting scripts and had to do a lot of cross-browser and cross platform testing in order to get everything running smoothly. It was trial and error and more testing, but everything worked out in the end.
I used the design elements throughout all of the wedding elements including the invitation suite, table signs, escort cards, 'Just Married' sign, signature cocktail sign, Thank You cards, etc. Let me know if you are interested in seeing any of those.

Wedding Invitations, etc.
As a designer and paper craft hobbyist, it was fun creating a full suite of wedding invitations for my wedding as well as additional stationary and craft projects. I liked the unique look of a pedal fold invitation and began branding our colors and theme throughout every aspect of the design.
I created the main invitation, directions and guest info card, RSVP card, stamps, save the dates, envelopes, rehearsal dinner invitation, signature drink sign, celebration wands for after the ceremony, wand sign, just married sign for bicycle, just married cans for bicycle, dinner menu, escort poster, guest book, guest book pen design, and over a hundred paper flowers for bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, napkin rings. It was a labor of love. My husband is an industrial designer and extremely creative. He had his hands in making the paper flowers, assembling the invitations, and drawing beautiful images of Asbury Park landmarks for our table signs.
